Truman Handcrafted! It's understated, yet unique in its colour and design. Sweet, sweet simplicity.
Based out of Vashon Island, a small island across the water from Seattle, Truman prides itself in pieces made entirely by hand, cut to finish, using traditional hand stitching techniques. Looking through the catalogue, one may notice that the company's products are a harmonious marriage of utility and sophistication, simplicity and tradition. Basically, you can tell that these are quality products that have much love and hard work put into them.
The portfolio comes in two different colours, with a subtle button stud closure and a backside strap that allows for easy storage of other documents. Gents, this is the type of accessory that you shouldn't mind tossing around a little (sans technological device). Like a fine wine, leather ages and only gets better with time. Show it a little love, and it'll reciprocate. With this particular piece, frequent usage will produce darkening of the leather, resulting in a beautiful patina hue.
